 Youth Sundays

Youth Sundays at HCC

Youth Sundays are usually every 5th Sunday Month in the year.

The Sunday Morning Worship Service is turned over as much as possible to the kids of all ages to lead the music worship, offer prayer, scripture readings and devotions, serve at the Communion and Offeratory table, and even preach a portion or the entire sermon message.  These services are always supported full-house attendances, and the youth are being nurtured  and encouraged as the future leaders of the Church.

 Camp with HCC

Prairie States Camp with HCC

Leave it to HCC to start something new.

"Water Wars 2008"

HCC hosts this week at the camp, and all staff but the cooks and groundskeeper come from HCC.  The older kids help with the younger kids and a great time is had by all.....

 2008 Lock-Ins

97 Junior High Lock-In Kids Attended

 

Lock-Ins are divided into Jr Hi and Sr Hi events. 

Lock-Ins begin at about 10 p.m. and  last until 7 a.m.  They are open to any kids in the event group ages, and kids are encouraged to bring their friends, supervised by volunteers who help keep the kids going all night long.  There are organized games and activities, lots to eat and snack on,  These events have been gaining in attendance over the past 5 years and have been a lot of fun for all involved ...... really!
