'HAPPY FALL TO YOU'

A woman was asked by a coworker, "What is it like to be a Christian?"

The coworker replied, "It is like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.

He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed.  Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."

Passing Thoughts

“Things I’ve Learned in my years.”

Dan Morrissette

Things I've learned in my years: Don't ever take anything for granted. Don't be afraid to ask a question; don't be afraid to seek an answer; don't be afraid to state your belief or fear you might give a wrong answer when asked.

You may be right; you may be wrong; your word may be mis-understood; you may provide a new clarity; no one will profit from an exchange of ideas without free and open discussion best conducted with passion of conviction, coolness of logic, calmness of spirit, and charity of heart.

Always qualify your responses based on your knowledge of the Word of God, your level of experience and surety, and remain open for debate... even if this includes the "Things I've learned in my years.."
